Spanish Cards

John WiedefeldAbout Us

Hi, my name is John Wiedefeld.  My wife, Heather, and I have 7 adult children between us, and 16 wonderful grandchildren.  I have been a public school teacher, a school principal, and a pastor of several churches.  However, due to health reasons, it was necessary for me to resign from the last church that I pastored.  So, in 1983 I started “Inspirations Unlimited” with $25, and 12 greeting cards!

Since then we have grown into a company that has produced over 400 greeting cards in various lines, featuring more than 30 artists.  We have also extended our production to include a line of note cards, holiday cards, and a very popular line of gift tags.  Our most recent addition has been a line of Spanish cards.

I do most of the writing and my wife, Heather, does the editing.  One of our artists, Jody King, does the beautiful calligraphy.  On the inside of each card is an appropriate Bible verse, and on the back of the card is a short biographical sketch about the artist.

From the very outset of the business, I prayed for wisdom and guidance, and God impressed upon my heart, one word, QUALITY!  As a result, our sales doubled in volume the following year!  The word, QUALITY, has revolutionized the way I now conduct business.  I purchase only the best paper available, choose only the best artistic work that comes across my desk, and employ a printing company that specializes in greeting cards.

Mission Statement

  1. To produce a high quality greeting card that is distinctively different, by using:

    1. uplifting Bible verses and meaningful messages that touch peoples lives, lift their spirits, and encourage them during difficult times, and

    2. Beautiful hand calligraphy, which creates a more personalized look, rather than the look of mass production.

  2. To provide an income for my family.

  3. To honor God in giving as much of our income as possible to support national workers who are sharing the Good News of the Gospel with their own people in third world countries.
